Stadium Taranaki in New Plymouth will be a fantastic venue for the 2011 Rugby World Cup and it will play host to three games during the tournament, it is also known as the Yarrow Stadium and will have a capacity of 30,000 for the tournament in 2011. It is a sporting town and is more than used to hosting major domestic sporting events with plenty of Rugby played there over the past few years at both Super 14 and Test Match level.

It is still a relatively new Stadium in New Plymouth having only been built in 2002 so the facilities there will be top notch, and that will be of comfort to the fans of Ireland and Wales who will both be heading to Taranaki to follow their team.
