When the World Cup was awarded to New Zealand we all assumed that Wellington would be one of the main hubs for the action and we have been proven right with some mouth watering clashes to look forward. The Stadium will have the honour of hosting two of the Quarter-Finals as well as five excellent pool matches, perhaps the most exciting of those will be the opening clash between defending Champions South Africa and Wales who are more than capable of beating the Springboks on their day.

The Wellington Stadium will also have the honour of hosting the All Blacks as they take on Canada, the match will be one sided but it will give the fans of Wellington the chance to see their team on home soil in the World Cup.
