Ospreys physio Brian Downey: If Henson misses out on the two-Test tour down under at the end of May, he will have just three warm-up internationals in August - against England, Argentina and France - before the World Cup betting to prove his worth.

Wales coach Gareth Jenkins is unlikely to want to risk unfit players in his squad for the September tournament.

The Ospreys will now be without Henson for their EDF Energy Cup final against Leicester at Twickenham on 15 April, plus their Magners League run-in.
